I think my favorite line was:
"Yes, Daddy bought me new baseball pants, a new mit, took me for pizza, then a movie where I got a rootbeer and popcorn, but ... he didn't buy me licorice and he promised so he didn't live up to his deal."
a wee bit spoiled perhaps.
But he made it all up at bed time. He claimed a notebook as his journal and this is what we found:
and ... he is a mathematician.
Now for Bug. Unfortunately for him he has not been a flattering reflection on us. Here is his school photo. I think the photographer thought he was a girl and pulled his hair forward.
Of course the pink and purple shirt didn't help. But he loves it.As you know it's since been cut.
